I’ve been searching for the best keyboard in the market and so I want a Model F.
Yet, I am lost in the numerous layouts…
I really need the number block a lot as well as the Pos1/End/Page Up/Page Down/Arrow keys. So easy and fast access is required. I would immediately buy a full size Model F! If you tell me, you make it next year, you get the money now 🙂
A German layout would be nice for me.

Num Pad: Option 2 seems best for me because arrow keys are available without pressing any function key.
1. I did not find a picture how Iso layout would look like. So I am not sure about the location of the Fn keys and the area around Enter. Would this match at least for the main key area? I assume the empty spaces besides space bar would be filled with the “function keys”?
2. If option 2 for Num Pad (https://imgur.com/a/WR7h4.) is available – where would be NumLock? You mentioned in any other post Fn key was between right Ctrl and Alt. Would NumLock be between left Ctrl and Alt?
3. Is function layer (F1-12) accessed with a combined pressing of Fn+respectie key. Or switches pressing Fn key permanently between the layers?
4. When I choose the HHKB option and get an additional Fn key besides the right shift – what for? Windows key?
5. You mention in the post for the Swiss guy

I did not find this software. Can you give me a link so I can learn about it?
Sorry to ask so picky questions. I am very sensitive with keyboards and without a picture of the result and understanding the functionality it is very difficult for me.
I am not sure about your shop section. If you have an original full size Model F in good condition for me that can be attached to USB and comes to a meaningful price as the brand new version, this may be an option for me as well. I am not dedicated to the German layout. The availability of the NumPad, Arrows, Navigation keys is more important for me.

Yes the German layout is available.
0. For num pad layout 2, please choose “0-9 and cursor keys” in the drop down menu of the F77 keyboard product page.
1. Yes your link shows the German Model M layout which is what the keys will substantially look like. Yes empty spaces ar efunction keys.
2. You can configure any key to be in any position. For example you could make FN+right Ctrl the num lock key. Or you could make right Ctrl the num lock key!
3. Press Fn+1 for F1. No permanent layer switching on the current firmware to my knowledge. But the controller is open source and other people have plans to update their firmware and software.
4. The additional Fn key to the right of right shift is the preferred location for Fn for many users because it matches the HHKB keyboard layout. It may be a more convenient Fn location than between right Ctrl and Right alt. HHKB split right shift only is available with the German layout for $15 extra (please order 15 units of the store item “$1 increments” if interested).
