Correction, split right shift key option… my bad.

Order a keyboard with the split left shift key option. It gives space for a “Fn” key that allows you to access function layers. All you’d have to do is press the function key simultaneously with keys “1” through “+” to access F1-F12.

If you really want dedicated function keys then you could pick up one of those programmable function pads maybe.
