Today marks the 40th anniversary of the official launch of the original IBM PC! On August 12, 1981 the IBM PC launched, and it included the Model F keyboard. While this was not the first IBM device with the Model F keyboard (the System/23 Datamaster preceded it by about a month), it was the first “affordable” one.
