Brand New Classic Style Beam Spring B104, B122, BSSK, B62 Keyboards, at a cost of ~25% to 50% of what an original IBM beam spring keyboard sells for nowadays

Compatibility:  Badges and LED overlays are the same size as the IBM originals and can fit most Model M or Model F keyboards, with exception for the IBM XT and AT boards that use a larger badge.  These badges are 2cm x 2 cm.  The F122 is the only new production board that has a recessed spot for the badge but you can stick the badges anywhere on any of the Brand New Model F or Brand New Beam Spring keyboard cases!  The badges are rendered images as they are not yet in stock, so expect a delay.  The F122 recessed area measures about 21-22mm tall by 20mm wide, so you will have to center the 20mm badge and there will be about 0.5mm to 1mm space below and above the badge in the recessed area.  Beam springs will work on original IBM and new keyboards.  Be sure to remove the plastic protective cover from the badge before installing.

Before purchasing, please review the additional terms and conditions on the beam spring keyboard product pages.  Ordering indicates your acceptance of all terms and conditions.  Scroll to the bottom to see the Beam Spring Setup video and the Beam Spring Typing Test video.

This product page allows you to purchase additional quantities of beam spring extras, as well as individual beam spring modules if you intend on creating your own beam spring keyboard.  The beam spring inner assembly design involves bending and laser/cnc cutting metal, cutting out the inner foam sheets, and you would also have to design the large capacitive PCB that goes underneath all the keys, order an xwhatsit controller, put everything together, etc.  The key sets on this page are Cherry MX compatible (for many of the other mechanical keyboards out there, as well as for the Brand New Beam Spring Project) and will not work with IBM Model F or M keyboards.  For additional details and discussion, check out the Deskthority and geekhack forum threads for this project: https://deskthority.net/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=26174

Beam modules limited warranty – you agree to pay the shipping cost for a partial replacement:  Beam modules are delicate.  Though this is unlikely, some may break.  If some arrive broken, you will not receive a completely assembled ready to install beam spring module as a replacement; instead I expect to have various parts to fix broken modules, available if you cover the shipping cost.  To avoid delays and hassle, always order several more modules than you think you will need.  All products are deemed to have cosmetic damage that does not affect operation of the module and will not be replaced; you will need to follow the manual because module components may separate in shipping and you will need to reattach them (not to worry, this step is shown in the beam spring setup video in the manual).

Design:  All modules are the new lower profile design.  They are not compatible with original IBM beam spring keyboards.  You will receive the Round 2 latest revision beam spring modules unless you specify otherwise, or unless you ordered a Round 1 keyboard.  The transparent relegendable key bottom pieces are only available in black (the beige color pictured is not available).

LED Overlay options (please specify in the notes.  You agree to accept a similar color overlay (beige, gray, or black) if I am not able to order all designs):
