I want to order one of these keyboards but I’m very confused with all the variations and notations.

I am currently using the 82 key keyboard that came with my IBM AT about 30 years ago.  This is the one with the 10 function keys to the left, the control key to the left of the A key and an L-shaped enter key.

I want something as close to that as I can get.  I do not want an ultra-compact keyboard.  Critical is having the control key to the left of the A key.  I think I understand that it can be programmed that way but I’d also like the key to be legened as “ctrl”.  Icing on the cake would be the key and a half width.

I’m currently running this keyboard through a DIN to USB converter on a Linux system.

So what do I need to order?

Thanks

John

Great!  I recommend the classic style F77 but you can also get the compact F77 which has a lighter and smaller case but retains the exact same component materials otherwise besides the case.

You’re welcome.

Only thing I need to know now is which keyboard to order.

Thanks

John

Yes you can custom order the ctrl key to the left of A and the Caps Lock key in the bottom right.

Since they are separate sized keys you have to order the two extra keys.  To order them, please add 4 units of the store item “$1 increments” to the cart and specify that it is for 1.75U Ctrl and 1.5U Caps Lock keys.

And thanks for joining in on the project!
